The only way to know God is to show love for others because the Bible says "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love" -1 John 4:8(NIV). Christianity is a combination of love towards God and love towards people. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. This is first greatest commandment. And second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself. All the Law and prophets hang on these two commandments"- Mathew 22:37-40(NIV).
