Jacob had twelve sons, Jesus had twelve disciples. God fulfilled His promise to Jacob by expanding his seed like stars of the heaven and sand of the sea. In the same way Jesus promised to his disciples that " All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations........"-Mathew 28:19(NAB).
Love to Serve
"So He sat down, called His twelve disciples, and told them 'If anyone wants to be first he must be last of all and servant of all'."-Mark 9:35(ISV).

Be imitators of God, therefore as dearly loved children and live a life of love. "Just as Christ loved us gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God"-Ephesians 5:1,2(NIV)
